Dr. Elisabeth von Weichs specializes in IT law, intellectual property law and media law.
For more than 30 years, Dr. Elisabeth von Weichs has advised extensively all sectors of the media industry (copyright collecting societies, production companies, copyright agents, television broadcasters, authors) including the fields of drafting business agreements and with a special focus on litigation. In these areas, she is regularly performing model cases and obtaining landmark decisions from the highest courts on behalf of her clients.
She also advises medium-sized companies in all industries on IT procurement (complex software licensing, software development as well as outsourcing agreements) as well as on crises in IT projects. Furthermore, she advises IT service providers and software houses. Another focus of her work is on any legal issue of technology transfer (patent and know-how rights, research and development agreements).
